So, you've finally settled down with a cup of tea, coffee, or a martini perhaps? ...and you have some quiet time to surf the web. Hmmmm, Fly Fishing for Women..... The kids are in bed, school or gone to college.

Husband/boyfriend or significant other (if you have one) is staring over your shoulder because they're just as interested as you in this fly fishing club thing you're looking at. Or, you're at work stealing a second to look up this club you've heard about.

Thing is, now you're searching for something unique and different, something for yourself. What a change. Good for you and welcome to "The Reel Hookers Club" -a club for women. We are located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Members live both in Canada and the USA. A group of wonderful, deeply interesting, colourful, young, old, married and single women who love to fly fish (and living next to the Rocky Mountains) we boast some of the finest trout fishing waters in the world. For a majority of us fly fishing is a lifelong dream come true, for others, it's a time to get away from the spin-cycle of life and slow down with friends. For many - it's both and so much more.

Where did the name The Reel Hooker's Club come from you may ask? The name of course being a play on words came out of the utter joy and frivolity fly fishing gave those women who originally started the club. The ability to laugh and keep an element of humor in what we do, is and will forever be important. We believe in the loveliness of the sport and passionate excellence with which we pursue our fishing. We hold true the respect for those who are a part of our club and our fly fishing community at large. We are grateful to the men, women and families who continue to make this an endearing sport.

Our fly fishing culture is steeped in history, tradition, love for the environment and conservation. Our hope, as a club, is to contribute to these areas. We determine our success in terms of smiles. We invite you to become part of the story!

Here you will find a way to connect with other women who enjoy fishing and savor life. We provide many Fly Fishing Courses for both the Beginner and the Intermediate, Articles, Resources, Shopping Hints, and some other spicy things to keep you revelling in family, friends and the art of fly fishing. No, we don't wear fish net stockings (as one friend suggested) but we do kiss many of the fish we meet.
